She was born Sept. 9, 1936, in Milton. She was the daughter of the late Frances (Emery) King and the late John Elwood King. She was the eldest of eight children.She graduated from Milton Area High School in 1954.On Oct. 16, 1954, Betty married the late Charles (Charlie) H. Reiner. They had three children, Edward, Susan and Jeffrey. Betty was a devoted homemaker and was well known for her skill as a home baker. She enjoyed embroidery and word find puzzles.She worked alongside her husband in the family grocery store, Milton Food Rite, in the Milton Southgate Plaza. The store closed in the early 1980s, which is when Betty began working at the RiverWoods Nursing Home, Lewisburg. She worked there for many years until she retired. At that time, she worked part-time alongside her husband in the family hardware business, Bee Cee Pro-Hardware, in Watsontown. She also worked part-time as a caregiver for Home Instead in recent years.She is survived by her children, Edward (Jane) Reiner of Oak Park, Calif., Sue Cain of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Jeffrey (Janet) Reiner of Omaha, Neb.; four grandchildren and their spouses, Dr. Benjamin C. Reiner, Ph.D. (Dr. Teresa Donze-Reiner, Ph.D.), Philadelphia, Melissa S Bintz (Russell Bintz), Lehigh, Iowa, Jennifer M Fuchs (Edward Fuchs) Montpelier, Vt. and Nicole Cain, Myrtle Beach, S.C.Betty was also blessed with five great-grandchildren, Evan, Ayden, and Jackson Bintz (Melissa), Everdean Fuchs (Jennifer), and Alexandra Reiner (Benjamin).Betty is survived by five siblings, Vonnie Mincemoyer, Barb Embeck, Elaine Springer, Jane Hunselman and Wade King.She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Reiner; two brothers, Barry King and John ‘Butch’ King; and a granddaughter, Cari Whittington (Cain).The family will receive friends and loved ones from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brooks Funeral Home, 124 Main St., Watsontown. Interment will follow at the Paradise Cemetery, rural Milton, with the Rev. Thomas Glasoe, of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Potts Grove, officiating.

Terri Lee Davies, 52, of Spotsylvania County, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017.Terri was born on July 28, 1964 in Biloxi, Mississippi to Ronald Alan Madison and Rita Marie Madison. She was a graduate of Courtland High School and Germanna Community College. Terri was a loving wife to Michael Davies for 28 years and loving mother to Lauren Davies for 15 years. She was a devoted daughter to her mother, Rita Madison. Terri is also survived by her sister, Stacy Lenox (Toliver) of Spotsylvania and a brother, Glen Madison (Mayte) of New York.She was a homemaker after Lauren was born, with a total commitment to raising and nurturing her child. Terri previously worked at Intuit, Spotsylvania County, and the Stafford County School Board office. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Terri loved Jesus, family time, encouraging others, and visiting new places.
